Under the Sun – an exhibition by Jane Duong (18th February 2023 to 25th March 2023)
Under the Sun is an exhibition that explores and celebrates public spaces and historical places in Queanbeyan through the magic that is accompanied by the cyanotype process. Each of the cyanotype prints is handmade. While some of the prints come with unique borders, some are created with negative contact sheets and some are dipped directly into the Queanbeyan River. All of them are one-off photographs on cotton paper.
Peace, Joy, and Stillness – an exhibition by Susan Hey (18th February 2023 to 25th March 2023)
Peace, Joy and Stillness exhibition is all about examining the beauty of light and shadow on the water by Susan Hey. He does this by taking time at the moment to stop, listen and reflect water. Susan Hey sees the pattern and movement while feeling the stillness and peace and then translates these experiences into the painting.
Rotary Queanbeyan Monthly Market (19th February 2023 to 19th March 2023)
The grand Queanbeyan Markets are held on Campbell Street Town Park on the third Sunday of every month. In these markets, you can discover a lot of homemade stalls, up-cycled, recycled, pre-loved and children’s stalls, along with scrumptious food and fresh coffee.
